La Bella Cucina is owned by Holly and Gordon Grohmann, frequent visitors to Weston for many years.  They fell in love with the building at 406 Main St. and quickly moved into the apartment above the shop.  They love the history, charm and neighborly feel of this wonderful town and the enthusiastic welcome they received from the community in late 2020.

Holly had a vision for a quaint Italian Market for you to find stunning, imported Italian pottery, unique, flavorful pastas, extra virgin olive oils, lovely aged balsamic vinegars, and a variety of San Marzano tomato sauces, to prepare your own delicious Italian meal in your beautiful kitchen!  She is always on the lookout for new flavors and products to bring you closer to Italy.  The shop is a gift destination as well with aprons, kitchen towels, charcuterie boards and supplies, and one-of-a-kind Italian tableware and pottery.

Gordon has lived in the Kansas City area his whole life and had visited Weston many, many times over the years.  He loves the history or the town and the buildings of Weston and the origins of all the Italian products.  He loves taste-testing all the products! 

You can't have a true Italian meal without some Italian red or white wine or Prosecco so the back of the store has become our negozio di liquori.  Grab a bottle of Chianti or Valpolicella or maybe some Limoncello or Aperol to complete your meal.  We have a wonderful selection of Italian Wines and Liqueurs and beautiful glassware to enjoy it from.
